Julian Aziz
Julian Aziz is a long-time resident of Oakville and has retired from a 40-year professional career in construction and asset management of investment real estate in the corporate and institutional context. More recently, as principal of a private consulting company, he has provided a broad range of advisory services to owners and developers of commercial real estate on a fiduciary basis, where the focus was to maximize value and achieve financial performance of investment properties.
Julian has an undergraduate degree in Engineering Science and a graduate degree in Civil Engineering from University of Toronto, as well as a certificate from the Institute of Corporate Directors (NFP Governance Essentials Program). He served on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity Halton Mississauga Dufferin for several years, four of which were as Chair of the Board. He is also a volunteer at CharterAbility, a registered charity based in Oakville.
Julian’s non-professional interests have included competitive offshore sailing, golf at the Oakville Golf Club and racket sports at the Oakville Club where he shares these interests with his wife of 46 years.
